Set in the Welsh countryside 2 miles from the historic town of Monmouth and the Wye Valley, with an award winning AA 2 Rosette Restaurant on site it is the perfect place for your holiday. Our holiday accommodation is ideally situated for a relaxing break in the country, set in approximately 4 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds. All our cottages have oak beams and open fires with plenty of room for parking.

Our restaurant provides country dining at its best with all vegetables grown on site to ensure the freshest produce. Our friendly staff are always on hand to help with enquiries to make sure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. Enjoy the splendour and privacy of our 17th century barn conversions with the warmest of atmospheres in the quiet, picturesque Monmouthshire countryside. There is plenty to do in and around Steppes Farm. With Monmouth, Hereford, Ross on Wye and the beautiful Wye Valley close at hand you are never short of exciting experiences and breathtaking views. Whether it be a gentle rural walk or a challenging kayak trip down the river Wye, there is plenty of adventure to be had!

Steppes Farm has approximately 4 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds, chairs and benches for sitting out and relaxation. Two grassed paddocks provide an excellent recreation area.

For golf enthusiasts, come and sample some of the finest courses in the UK. We can offer 2 or 3 night mid-week breaks, dinner and Bed & Breakfast.

Fully Equipped

All our cottages have fully equipped kitchens and log burning heaters to create a warm, cosy experience as well as the usual staples such as TV and DVD players.

The Stonemill, has been catering for discerning diners for over 14 years and in that time we have gained Michelin recognition and been awarded two AA rosettes for our efforts along with yearly accolades from Trip Advisor. The majority of our produce is locally sourced and we only select the best ingredients for the meals that we serve at our tables.
